SOFTEN YOUR SKIN
Claudius Galenus (129-199AD), a Turkish doctor, was the first to invent a moisturising cream for the skin. He discovered that a refreshing cream could be obtained by mixing olive oil with water and vegetable wax and that, when this was applied to the body, skin became very soft. Or, just just add 50 ml milk mixed with the same amount of olive oil to your bath water for smooth, supple skin. To exfoliate your face and hands, rub your skin with olive oil, then scrub with sugar or coarse salt, and rinse.

REJUVENATE YOUR HAIR
To avoid split ends, mix an egg with 1 tablespoon of vinegar and 2 tbsp of olive oil. Heat, but do not allow boiling, and then applying to split ends. Leave for an hour then rinse out.
